Dr. Turk takes his time, does a comprehensive exam, and explains the condition of concern as well as conditions which are not of any worry. Most important, he provides options to deal with my medical problem from the most simple options for treatment, and medication to treat the same, all in incremental steps. Finally, he always asks at the end of the visit "Is there anything else that concerns you or that worries you because I would be happy to talk about it". I drive across town to see him because it is worth it. His offic... read more

Outstanding doctor. The best I have had. Explains things completely. Solved my prostate problems with medication and a Urolift procedure. Have recommended him to friends of mine and will continue to do so. Has a very professional office staff.

Dr. Turk is an amazing surgeon and saved my life with a very complicated emergency surgery. He was working against all odds imaginable and not to mention it was a holiday weekend. He came back to the hospital in the wee hours of the morning to see me off on a lifelight after already spending 6 hrs or so in the OR. He has been my Urologist for almost 15 years and I will never see anyone else!!

Missed a serious kidney problem I had

I went to see Dr.Turk cause I had a large kidney stone that was blocking and causing inflammation. He wanted me to wait til January to do the first procedure of putting in a stent and dye, then another procedure to start taking care of the stone. I went to a different urologist who already started breaking down the stone. Why would you make someone in severe pain wait a month and then not even take care of the problem?? He was doing everything backwards. Donor waste your time with him.

I would have previously recommended Dr. Turk as he did my surgery for my kidney cancer. But I just went to see him this week and I was so upset that I left his office...called my husband and just started crying. He barely spoke to me and only gave me one word answers. When I said I have had 32 kidney stones in the past year he said "what can I tell ya" He looked at me like I he was looking through me. Maybe he had a bad day but I will never go back to him. I also waited over an hour.

I went to the Medina office for Dr. Turk and it was so unprofessional. He was swearing in front of me and talking about my medical issues and medications in front of th secretaries and other patients. It was unfortunate that I paid for this visit for this type of response. He told me my kidney stone wasn't even big when it's almost 4.0mm. Excuse me? No doctor should make you feel stupid for having pain! He also knows nothing about medication and dosages and how long medications last in the body.
