I have thought about having this procedure for about 4 years now and I finally got enough courage to go through with it. Here's what I use. First of all, I'm Not condoning self treating, but for me there wasn't really any other options. Local PS won't touch it and I couldn't get more time off to fly to Miami. Make sure you get sterilized needles. I bought on Amazon. 20 gauge 1 1/2" needles and 20ml syringes- find the center of the seroma, wash your hands, clean area with alcohol prep wipes, and insert needle (hole side up) into the center of the seroma. A year and 4 months after surgery. I’m happy with my results. As much as I love my surgeon, I just can not recommend anyone to Spectrum Aesthetics with the way their staff runs the office behind the scenes. The coordinators are extremely unprofessional and impersonal, no one has time to truly answer your questions in a timely and professional manner. They’re just awful! Doing very well! I took my own drains out. Took one out on day 7 and the other day 9. I wasn't draining anything and just wanted them out. It was very easy, no pain at all. Both drain wounds have closed up. I removed dressings and clean the incisions daily on tummy tuck and breast lift. I'm healing very well. Incisions are all closed, just scabbing now. I checked in with them to let them know that no results were changing and sent them pictures regularly. After three months pass they agreed that the doctor did not do a good job on my back and that he would redo my revision however my stomach fat could not be taken care of because I could only lose that fat by working out.
