I started going here for PT over 6 months ago and I'm just now finishing this review--I keep trying to express how amazing the experience has been for me and then I start tearing up and have to stop--though it's probably normal to be a little over-emotional when you have a life-changing experience! I cannot say enough good things about this highly professional team. I have known Chandrika Lotwala for many years and she sets the bar very high for her therapists. The treatment I received after my hip therapy was friendly, compassionate, thorough, and thanks to Dan my therapist, fun. I had the unfortunate need for Physical Therapy as I hurt my lower back. My co-worker recommended Amurvel. Previously I had four shoulder surgeries and four PTs from a different PT office. That office closed and I was in a lurch. I liked the previous office but once at Amurvel I felt right at home. They have the balance of Tough Love down to a science. Bound to happen in my career field.. I live in stilettos and pumps at 39000 feet.. and after my last 4day trip from JFK and PHL I hit my turbulent vertigo fuzz... rolled my ankle and the rest winds me up in physical therapy.. and a much needed break from the friendly blue skies .. I admit I dont like going to physical therapy.. something about therapy on my injured ankle and knee just makes me cringe.. Nonetheless... the staff is great! I spent a year working with Amisha at Amurvel after neck/spine surgery. I truly believe I would not be in such great shape today if it weren't for her gentle touch, encouragement and lessons in strength and therapy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Amurvel, and especially Amisha, to anyone who needs physical therapy. I will never go anywhere else. Thanks again Amisha!

I came into Amurvel about 3 months ago with chronic knee pain and an ankle sprain. My knee pain is now basically gone and my range of motion and strength in my ankle is greatly improved. As an athlete, I appreciate there services greatly and they did a wonderful job rehabilitating me while at the same time making me feel comfortable. I had the oppourtunity to work wiht several therapists and in my opinion they are all great at what they do. Thank you!

It is my pleasure to bring to your attention a wonderful physical therapy facility. I have been a patient at Amurvel for the past 2 months and I have been very pleased not only with the level of therapy but also with the caring atmosphere exhibited by the whole staff. I'm t wasn't my therapy that was bad: it was the staff. There was a group of them that were talking about some of the other staff. It felt like Jr. High.

I've had multiple bad experiences trying to schedule an appointment. Whoever answers the phone keeps explaining that scheduling an appointment is very difficult. First of all, I don't care. Why is it appropriate to complain to customers about that? And what are they doing- calendaring by hand? In 2023, with all the calendaring software out there, who doesn't know when (day/time) the next open appointment is? I haven't even gotten to an appointment yet, and who knows if I ever will. I'm not sure it's worth any more effort.
