I am a fairly new patient of Dr. Charkawi, < one year. On my first visit I was able to secure an immediate appointment, that day, for a physical. Dr. Zack stayed late for me, which is unheard of these days! (His support staff stayed late for me too. ) This is the kind of patient service that creates loyalty! A month back my son was in to visit the dermatology side of the practice. Dr. Timani performed a marvelous procedure which resulted in the wart falling off my son's toe.
I have been a patient of Dr. Charkawi's for the past 5 years. Dr. Charkawi is a highly perceptive MD. He is thorough and current with the latest Medical Technology, Knowledge and Experience. He has a Genuine interest in my continuous well-being and it comes across, without exception, on each visit throughout the years. Well Done!!
Scheduled an appt 2 weeks out for telemedicine. I called 2 days prior to confirm. We arranged our whole day to attend the appt. AT THE TIME of the appt they decide they no longer want to do the appointment via telemedicine. When I asked why they didn't let us know 10 days ago or 2 days ago - she hung up on me. TERRIBLE. Called back and office was closed - EARLY. Looks like they just wanted to go home with no concern for patient well being.
The Dr. and CNA were not welcoming at all. They made me feel really uncomfortable. I asked the Dr. about getting a prostate exam. He replies, "are you afraid of anything?" They never offered a follow up appointment. This was a really odd experience and I will not return.
Absolutely it’s not the right place. Please do not go there. I called to full up with DR zack regarding my health concerns and my prescription, he did not call me back or his Nurse.His Nurse was very rude and not respectful. You just number for them. I will not go back. The medicine that given me by DR zack almost killed me., after I called them for updates no one cares.in progress to file complain.

We don't tolerate demands to interrupt providers from their patient schedules for non-urgent calls about non-recent medication. Patients who pretend to be personal friends of providers will receive the same communication options & protocols for every patient in our office. We don't tolerate verbal abuse & slander to our staff or physicians, & we don't accept threats to be reported to a board when a patient doesn't hear back from the provider within a few hours when the provider is with patients.
If you like waiting an hour past your scheduled appointment time, this is the place for you! Front desk girl is rude. Rude! I also have to receive a call back for a bad reaction to medication. Worst experience i have ever had.
Dr Charkawi is an awesome Doctor. He was very helpful in helping to diagnose a minor condition. However, over the past year his back office staff have gotten so bad that I'm changing doctors. It is impossible to get in touch with anyone. Refill request? Good luck, they completely ignore them. Voicemails? HAH, ignored. I guess if they can't fit you in, they simply don't call you back. I left messages for 10 days before giving up and driving to the office. I'm done dealing with it.
I had been a patient for years. I had heart issues come up after having a normal EKG. He prescribed meds that would have probably killed me had I filled and taken them. I had to upload results from this device and his office never contacted me about the results. The nurse in charge of sending over the results to his office finally advised me to just go directly to the ER. After being admitted to hospital his office still never followed up with me. I was pretty disappointed.
