I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My sister is in St. Martin's in the Pines. She is in their memory care. It is older, I think it was established back in the 70s, but the facility is well-maintained. The staff is very hands-on and very loving and caring. I have been there early in the morning until late at night, and I've never seen anything that concerned me about what was going on at the facility. I've had all three meals there, and the food is very good. The surrounding areas of the buildings are absolu... read more

I visited this facility I went to St. Martin's in the Pines. When I first got there, they had no schedule for me to take a tour. They had no idea I was coming. It took the receptionist about 20 minutes to finally get through to somebody. She finally got a hold of someone, and she agreed to take me on a slight tour that she did. She was also covering for somebody else, so she didn't know a whole lot about the place, but from what she showed me, she showed me the library, the chapel, the main common area, the dining hall, and ... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mom is at St. Martin's In the Pines. She is going to get long-term care. I like that when I call with concern, they're handled immediately. Her CNA during the day is just wonderful. I really love her. The physical appearance of the facility is good and most of the time it's clean. They are a little short-staffed right now, so sometimes it takes a minute for some of the rooms to be cared for, but for the most part, it's pretty clean. They have transportation. They also h... read more

I visited this facility St. Martin's in the Pines was a very nice facility. It was a little pricey, a little bit more than I could afford to pay up for. The rooms were nice and roomy, the facility was very clean. I didn't get to meet a lot of the staff, but the young lady that was the intake person, she was really nice. She even called me afterwards, and every now and then she'll still call to see how things are going. They were doing some activities when I was there. The staff was very welcoming, personable, ... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident We have chosen St. Martin's in The Pines for my mom. It's a nice facility, it's been around for a while, and it's close to my sister's house. They have a courtyard and a sitting room attached to it. Then they have the usual meals and supervision, all that good stuff. She's in their memory care unit. I've only had limited exposure to the staff, so far, but they have been quite helpful. They're quite accommodating too. The facility see... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident St. Martin's In the Pines was very, very nice. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. We just visited there, and they gave us a packet. We had a friend of ours that lived there. They showed us her apartment. It was super nice. All the amenities are within the building, and Mother would have never had to get out of the building. She has elevator access or she could use the stairs, but they prefer that most of them use the elevator to prevent falling. They have act... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mom is at the skilled nursing area of St. Martin's In the Pines. I like that it is a cottage type setting with only ten residents per floor. All the meals are cooked there, and they've got a large gathering room with reclining chairs, a fireplace, a huge kitchen, a dining room, and screened-in porch. It's like living in a home instead of being in a traditional nursing home. Thus far, the staff has been very caring. Their ratio is five patients to one care... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident This a great place, like a big and friendly home. Residents have private rooms with big bathrooms, furniture, a beautiful common area with a fireplace, big tv, recliners, and dining room. It looks cozy. No bad smells at all! Very clean. Nursing station is right here, so a nurse can see residents very well. Also from a common room, you can enter a big screen porch with a beautiful view of the forest and a lake. There are a lot of different activities for residents almost fo... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident We chose St. Martin's in The Pines because they seemed responsive, and the price was good. It has a caring and good environment, and the residents seemed happy. I tried the food when I was there, and it was good. They had a nice big common area and do some daily entertainment activities and get-togethers for everybody.
