TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dave's Hot Chicken is a very colorful experience. The food was delicious and served in big juicy chicken proportions. The fries had awesome seasoning as well as the chicken. The pickles come on the side and on the sliders. The pickles are very crunchy and juicy. If you like some spice, Hot is the best option for the spice while anything below Hot is not spicy Tip: I highly recommend eating in for faster service.
My family and I visited the original location on Hollywood Blvd. In 2018. I’ve had it two other times since that first trip, and each time the food was superb - actually spicy, chicken is super tender, and fries are nicely seasoned and crispy. This is a top-tier fast food establishment, and happy to see how much it’s grown since! Wish every franchise had this consistency! Also - love the new Dave’s bites!
WOWWW OUTSTANDING!!!🤩 This was my first Dave’s hot chickens I’ve ever been too. I LOVEEE Diana she’s the sweetest. Her service was so welcoming, her eye contact was everything. I felt like I’ve known her forever. The food was great I got Dave’s #2 HOT and it was so juicy the mix of hot and the honey 🔥🔥 . THE ICE IS SO YUMMY TOO! This is the most flavorful and spicy chicken I have ever had. The Reaper spice level was true to its name at over 1 million Scoville units of "mouth on fire" heat. The medium and hot spicy versions were amazing.
Good chicken tenders, fries if not soggy are good, Chris sauce is good!! . I love the mild flavoring. Staff can be rude and they definitely dont care if non handicap drivers are parked in handicap parking in front.
