The final underwriting was supposed to start 30 days before closing and it was only started 2 weeks before so a lot of the documents were requested last minute resulting in a lot of stress up until before closing day. But despite that, we were very happy with the team and we had a great experience overall, very professional and communicative throughout the process.

Barbara, Nicole and Stephen Funderburk's entire team are awesome. The whole Atlantic Bay group truly does put the customer first.
Eliminate the personnel from Virginia Beach office. They did not do their job properly. Also was not crazy about waiting the 11th hour on the final figures. Created problems on our travel plans to arrive in SC.
The folks who handle the paperwork for creating the mortgage are excellent. Whoever is handling the monthly billing for the mortgage are incompetent idiots who reflect poorly on the company.
