Dr. Sears attentiveness was poor. When asked a question, he was demeaning and was very arrogant. I was referred to him, but would not recommend him to anyone. I came to understand why his rating is so poor. I wish I would have known his persona "BEFORE" I set up my appointment, because, had I known, I would have asked for another doctor.
Excellent patient care. Takes time to explain in detail so that the average person can understand. Office staff helpful and calls are returned same day.
Courteous staff Professional doctor Advised of problem, muscle stretched, no difficulty swallowing. 2nd time in 7 years, no issues.
Dr.Sears was professional. His patient contact was not overly friendly but perhaps that is not as important as the quality of care. Waiting area nurses, especially Amy, were wonderful, friendly, caring and organized. The anesthesiologist, male with pony tail, was great. Let me know what was being used for sedation, how it would affect me and how soon I should wake up. Things went according to plan. The procedure room nurses were cool and hurried. They did not explain and even caused pain.
Terrible care and no follow up. His surgical procedure sent me to ICU for 10 days and then he sent me home from ICU. I called his office for a follow up visit and he said he could just speak with me over the phone. I ended up back in a hospital in Denver for 3 more weeks with a feeding tube for a month.
