What a great guy. He put me right at ease. He’s very professional and easy to talk to. At this point (and thankfully for me) this was just a post ER consult but nonetheless very helpful.
Dr. Southerland is a very knowledgeable, professional surgeon. Our 15 year old tore her acl and he did a great job connecting with her, making her feel comfortable with the major surgery she was about to undergo. He is an expert in his field and her recovery so far has been better than we hoped for. We are so thankful we were paired up with Dr. Southerland!
I had my second him replacement done by Dr. Southerland. Both surgeries were very successful. He has an incredible bedside manner. He puts you at ease with his patience, knowledge and sense of humor. He is simply the best!
Dr Southerland is a skilled surgeon with good bedside manner. Now that I am more than 6 months out I can look back and be pleased. No pain meds since October!
I absolutely adore Dr. Stephen Southerland. He is kind, caring, patient, easy going, answers all your questions AND knows his stuff. If he doesn't know the answer, he tell you.
Awesome Doc ! Although he was not able to help me ( 3rd hip surgery repair ) he was very calm and very honest about what could and could not be done. he took the time with me and explained everything so well, I was heartbroken, but not from him ! he was amazing and made me smile and giggle, He said repairing your hip would be like " nailing jello to the wall " HAHA, I got that and left very satisfied and would highly recommend him ! 5 Stars across the board. Thanks Dr Sutherland very being so kind to me.
