I’m reading the one star reviews on this page and I find them to be biased by the reviewers state of mind during difficult crisis cases and perceptions which may have been altered when they met him. I do agree that scheduling and waiting for med refills occasionally occurs, but the system is better at Mindpath than it was at PCSD and the staff are attentive.Dr Signer has consistently provided quality care and changes meds if they aren’t helping. Dr Signer is an excellent doctor with empathy and that is one quality many doctors have lost throughout the years of practice but Dr signer has managed to keep his compassion and empathy with his patients. He reminds me of the very medical doctors that represented a great physician in the past brought back to the present.
Excellent clinician with empathy, warmth and insight. Quite bright and has been copacetic for me. Rather non-judgmental in the best sense. Those who deride him are likely patients who feel threatened by someone with a superior intellect and fine credentials. True, the (erstwhile) PCSD management regimen has flaws, and scheduling can be an issue. Nonetheless, those seeking a fine psychiatrist who brings a welcome "haimish" approach to the fore will find that he is excellent.
Dr. Signer is willing to listen to my concerns and change interventions if I’m struggling with any medications. Coming from the VA health system, it’s great to have a doctor who doesn’t tell me there are limited treatment options. I feel really confident asking questions and sharing my thoughts on medications. Mental health, for many of us, is a chronic and ongoing issue. Dr Signer is a consistent doctor who gives people like me hope.
My Dr is very thorough with all my symptoms and answers all my questions.
I think this doctor is wonderful. He is thoughtful, insightful and kind. He listens to me, answers my questions and when I want to try something new, he is receptive. Best psychiatrist I have found in San Diego and I have had to try a few before finding Dr Signer. I highly recommend.
His office help is very poor but he makes it all worth it. After I finally got in he got straight to the point and helped me immediately. Best psychiatrist I have every been through. Well worth putting up with his office staff!
