He was very kind and friendly and addressed my issue in a caring manner
Although I am not impressed with his bedside manner, I found him to be very knowledgeable. He gave a Rx that completely solved my condition. He was thorough in the explanation on how to use the medicine and how to wean off of it. I would recommend him to friends.
This doctor would not speak to me, he addressed all comments and questions to my husband, who was not the patient and could not answer. When directedto ask me he Still only spoke to my husband. I was being seen for chronic migraine and l he was practically yelling the entire appointment, as well as talking over me. I have seen several neurologists, including at the Mayo clinic, he is the only one to DEMAND that I put on a gown. Please listen to others warnings about this doctor. He did not listen to half of my symptoms today before completely dismissing me. He has horrible bedside manner. I gathered my things and walked out of this appointment. This man is a total waste of time who apparently enjoys trying to make his patients feel terrible. Plenty of other options out there, this one is a HARD PASS!
My husband saw him after his doctor referred him to Adelman who acted "put out" by having to see him. He said there's nothing wrong with him. Those comments haunted my husband for two years in DSM-all the other crappy neurologists in DSM dismissed him, due to his notes! Adelman kicked us out of another appt when I begged him to help us. THEN, MY HUSBAND WAS DIAGNOSED WITH ALS IN CHICAGO!! HE HAS NO BUSINESS BEING IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH PATIENTS! Mercy will get sued due to his incompeteny!!
Dr. Adelman was the most unprofessional, rude, arrogant physician that I have ever come in contact with. He did absolutely nothing to help figure out a diagnosis and was quickly on his way. i will never, ever see him again and would recommend seeing anyone, but him. I can't believe a quality practice like Mercy Neurology allows him to continue as a physician in their system. Don't waste your time with this one.
Rude, got mad because he thought I was to controversial, because I asked for a diagnosis! Lied when I said he had not diagnosed her. Raised he's voice at me several time.would not recommend to anyone!
There is a reason his rating is a 2. After seeing Dr. Adelman I no longer want to see any doctors at all. I'd rather fly to South America and see a shaman. He argumentatively dismissed all my symptoms as psychological before performing any tests at all other than pushing on my arms and wouldn't even listen to the issues I was concerned with. I wasn't having any overt psychological problems that wasn't directly related to my physical symptoms before but I definitely am now. I am traumatized!
not helpful, not caring, dismisses complaints, does not address concerns. Basically sees pt just enough to send bill, but does not want to help any problem.
