Dr Ramey is my least fav doctor to see at the clinic. He doesn’t really listen to the concerns you have about your child or there history. My daughter went in with an abscess that needed to be drained. He was more concerned about the betadine that had splashed on his newly painted wall then he was about my kid. Also after asking about the antibiotic she was placed on etc. I had to come back Monday and see my actually pediatrician to get a culture and new antibiotic.
I took my daughter for her ADHD recheck and her regular pediatrician was out. The day before her appt she starting feeling bad. I mentioned it and Dr. Ramey listened to her breath. He said she has a cold. By Saturday she was worse and I had to take her to an Urgent Care where they said she had an upper respiratory infection and gave her antibiotics. We were seen 45 minutes after our scheduled 6:00 PM appointment time. While I understand that healthcare providers are often on tight schedules, it was frustrating to sit in an empty waiting room and to have an appointment that was running so far behind schedule. Additionally, my son was seen for two enlarged ‘bumps’ on the back of his neck. The doctor contradicted himself by first saying that there was nothing enlarged, his lymph nodes were not swollen, and then he said that it is probably just the base of his skull. When a... read more
