I have to commend the staff for doing an oustanding job. They catered to my low sodium diet. The staff, fresh food, good quality food and the great ambiance definitely enhanced the experience. Great place to visit. It's definitely a neighborhood Gem for the southside of Indianapolis.
Having read other reviews was concerned about service, but service was excellent. Food was as good as should be expected for the price. Had a party of 8, all were first time diners and everyone was very pleased. Since we had a large party we were charged a 20% gratuity. Would have given 20% anyway, but typically see 18% so a forced 20% left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. One other note for large parties - request tables. We had not eaten at Stone Creek for awhile (no particular reason, but plan to make an effort to go their more frequently.
Friendly, food very good, service excellent, wide menu selection
Stone Creek offers a wide variety of excellent food. No matter what your tastes, you will find what you enjoy the most. We took our family and friends there to celebrate a birthday and everyone left happy and satisfied. The service was great and the waiters were always on top of things. It's a fun place to be. We love that it's in our neighborhood and part of our community.
We dine at Stone Creek about once a month. We were with guests who had never been there this time. It was a little disappointing, as our bread did not come to our table until after the meal had arrived. I don't know if this was the fault of the kitchen (we were told repeatedly that the bread was still in the over) or the fault of our waitress. Other than that, it was a good experience.
We had a great waiter. Just a great night out.
All ways have great service here.
Good food beyond my expectations. Smiling waitstaff, but not intrusive. Nice quiet place for privacy and conversation. Going around back was a little strange, but made it seem more private and intimate. The main things was the good food. I want to try other menu items since everything we ate was very good.
