We sat in a booth where the noise level seems to be less. The food for all 4 of us was very good! From salmon to steak to chicken; we all liked our dishes. The bread with their excellent dipping oil could be a meal itself unless you actively curtail the urge. All in all, a very good time was had by all!
I ordered the seafood broil, the Mahi Mahi was over cooked, the shrimp was over cooked, like rubber. Vegatables were under cooked, very tough. We were seated at a table for two just in front of the reception area, it was cold as the door opened, foot traffic was constant, guest, waiters and waitresses. Atmosphere was very noisy and way too busy. Very hard to have a personal conversation.
We were here during Devour Indy and I have never seen the restaurant completely full so early in the evening. Stone Creek consistently provides quality food. The entree I chose, the pasta on the special Devour menu, was not something that I would order again. Too many ingredients that each overshadowed the other. Sometimes simple is better. The bread pudding was excellent!
