Easter great service
As always, our food was delicious. I was curious to see what was on the menu since I knew they advertised recent changes, but they kept some of my favorites. The BEST bread and dipping oil! The New York strip steak is generous enough to share if you get salads or soup. I love the beet salad with the goat cheese. My daughter thought the potato terrine was the show stopper. We will be back.
We visit this restaurant at least once a week and are never disappointed. The service is superior to most other restaurants and the food is always fixed just as we like it. And, they honor our veterans with a sweet discount. That's always nice to see.
Our meals were good but the service was not up to par. It was a little slow and disorganized. Seven of us were served our meal while the eighth person waited five minutes for his. I reserved for 10 people and twice changed it to 8 but when we arrived they still were expecting 10 in our group.
Server was ok at first, but after we received our food she only returned to bring the check. I think she was serving way too many people - not her fault. Food was all quite good except for lobster mac 'n cheese - looked like a Kraft single served of M noisy table next to us, but they were celebrating a birthday, so we get it.
Solid good meals every time we go. Do not care for any of the deserts, all WAY WAY WAY too sweet with too many sweet toppings heaped on. You do get a free desert for annivs and birthdays which is nice but they are SO sweet you each only want 1 bite and thats it. So i'd literally say split 1 desert for 5 people and just let everyone have a bite. Or go out and have desert someplace else. The sirloin steak is solid good every single time I try it. You cant go wrong ordering that.
