The NY strip was okay. I would have expected a better cut and better seasoning. The medium rare was closer to medium. The potatoes were okay. The broccoli was not very good at all. It was tough, it was cold, it wasn’t very flavorful and it was a bad cut. My wife wasn’t impressed with her vegetable Wellington and she had a couple nut shells in her meal. New management. Food was good. Service was OK. The server forgot to bring bread until most of the drinks were over. My NY Strip was way undercooked - so had to go back and one meal came back after other three were almost over. Then the server kept wanting to clear rest of the plates! They had a ‘large party’ so we’re out of two desserts - Cheesecake and Crème Brûlée. Stone Creek, Upscale dining with a casual atmosphere. Prices are commensurate with the upscale menu and the service is impeccable. Will return again and again
Great service, good food and coffee and nice variety of food choices. Only complaint is that we had reservations for 11:00 and no one came to open the restaurant doors until 11:10. It was snowing outside and we could not get in. If a place takes reservations for a time they should be ready to go before then and not just opening the place ten minutes past the reservation time.
Enjoyed Stone Creek as this was our first time visit. It began on a bit of a downer as the table they took us to was not cleaned and was dirty............so, after a few minutes more, they cleaned another table---quiet and away from the kitchen which was great. Natalie---our server was really good---knowledge of the menu and recommendations along with a positive spirit and helpful young lady! Would recommend her and the restaurant for sure.
The food was pretty good, but the steak was bland and overcooked (ordered medium well but it was definitely well and charred on the outside). The mashed potatoes and asparagus were amazing. The ribs were good. For the price, there are other restaurants in the area I would rather go to.
