Tables by the kitchen are unacceptable in my opinion.... just too noisy to enjoy the experience. There were other tables available, hosted did not even broach the subject... we had to ask to be moved.
We were impressed with the food at this restaurant. The sevice was amazing. The waitresss was very attentive and very nice without being a nuisance. She seemed genuinely concerned that we were having a nice time. The food was reasonably priced and very good. The restaurant is in a prime location in the heart of Montgomery. The restaurant looks a little dated. If they had a make over I think it would be a big boost to the restaurants popularity. Not that its terrible now but it could be FABULOUS.
The food was very good. I had the Durango Beef medalians and they were so tender. Our table was a little tight for four of us and they were low on menus so we only got three. We waited quite a while to get our drinks and order but after that the service was excellent and we never waited for a thing. I love that they take reservations since so many place won't unless you have a group. It is in beautiful old Montgomery which also makes it worth it. We will go back.
