A somewhat disappointing visit. Stone Creek has always been one of our favorite restaurants but the meatloaf meal I had was below their usual quality. The sauce was baked into the meat rather then being spread over the top as in past visits, and the meat was overcooked. The service was good once the wait staff discovered we were there, but for the first 15 minutes we must have been invisible as no one came to offer us water or anything. We hope this was just a bad day for the cook and the staff and will not be repeated.

We would have given the food a 5 but the menu had changed since our last visit and the things we order every time were different and not as good.

Food and service were fine but we were seated right in front of the open kitchen. Very noisy with plates and pans banging. The back room door was open. Servers coming and going. Scraping plates into a garbage can. We may return but will definitely asked to be seated in and area.

This dinner was so so good. We came from out of town and I wanted to go somewhere special. We were seated promptly. We had a wonderful server, Christian, who made excellent recommendations. He suggested the NY strip, which was delicious, and the brownie sundae for dessert. My son had some fettuccine pasta, which he liked too. The bread was great, and I loved the oil. Definitely one of my favorite restaurant experiences. Can't wait to go back.
