Food was great. Server was aggressive
Ordered the board one of the meats smelled rancid, the server took the piece of meat back to the kitchen and brought back salamis instead.
We requested a booth due to hearing issues. We were told none were available. We weren’t seated five minutes when two booths opened up. I would have gladly waited ten minutes to have better hearing!
Service was very good; however, the food just wasn’t. My husband and I had pasta dishes and both had weak sauces. I added chicken for an additional charge and the portion was about the size of a chicken tender. Other friends ordered ribs and pork chop and were more satisfied.
Entree mediocre, pomodoro sauce tasted like boxed spaghetti for kids. The chicken that was an up charge, was about 2-3 ounces. The dessert was good.
Stone Creek Montgomery was one of our favorite restaurants prior to their move to their new location. The new location is fantastic with plenty of parking. Sadly though, we've noticed a big decline in their food and service quality. On our most recent visit, we had our mom with us for Mother's Day brunch. The menu was the first disappointment more than 1/2 the options were sandwiches (no entrees from their dinner menu available). We were disappointed in our wait time (although it was Mother's Day)--we waited about 20 minutes for our table, but kept being told we were second on the list.
Pros: Dinner was great and the servers were very friendly. The Salmon was amazing!!! Cons: It was way over priced and the deserts were horrible. The carrot cake and cheese cake were very small portions and it was disgusting. I doubt we’ll be back.
