High school graduation!
Stone Creek has always been our favorite restaurant in Plainfield but the last few visits we have been really disappointed. They have a new menu and have taken away Potatoes Au gratin, our favorite potato. We asked for baked potatoes and they said they don't have them anymore either. How can they take two of their best items off at the same time. The new bacon wrapped potatoes ate not a good replacement for either one. The prices have gone up and the service has gone down. Stone Creek is our go to local restaurant here in Plainfield IN. We especially enjoy the outdoor dining during the summer months & the atmosphere inside the bar area in the colder months. The food is perfection. Some of our favorite items are the house salads with alfalfa sprouts & sunflower seeds, calamari with the blackberry balsamic vinegarette salad, salmon, ribs & carrot cake. Stone Creek never disappoints.

So....they were so kind to serve a dish that used to be on their menu. That is great service. However I question if that is their strength as the dinner was just OK. Small detail but the side dish that is no longer offered is a baked potato. I would have preferred they just said no to serving one that was not fully cooked. On the plus side our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable.
