Experienced a great Valentine's Day dinner; great food; great service; great atmosphere. Never disappointed.
Nice evening with my wife. Very busy and seated about 1/2 hr late. But staff was attentive and cordial. Waitress was helpful and checked in time and again without being invasive. Food was good and we will go again.
We were there on a busy Saturday night. We ordered appetizers which were good and came out in a reasonable amount of time. The oil for the bread, which I love, was the bottom of the bottle and just a lump of herbs on the plate. It took a long time for our main course to come out and when it did, the ribeye was tough, the ribs were dry and the fried shrimp were overcooked (rubbery). Stone Creek is our 2nd favorite place to eat and our most frequent place to go for quality food and dining. Although we made reservations we were surprised by the poor seating that we were offered and requested another location. We noticed other patrons rejecting this same location while there were open tables and booths all over the restaurant. The food was as delicious as usual, but we are baffled by the greeter's insistance that our seating options were so limited.
The service was great considering it was 2/13. It was packed, but with reservations we walked immediately to our table.
Our server informed us that she forgot to put our food in the computer. we had to wait 45+ minutes for our dinner to come out to the table. Our server apologized as well as the manager who came to our table. Both our server and the manager told us they would fix our bill due to the wait and because of the mistake our server made. Not a single dime was taken off our bill. we were very understanding when they apologized but it was frustrating that our bill wasn't reduced after we were told it would be.
