I took my wife here on a Friday evening for our anniversary. Luckily I had made reservations--those without reservations were being told it was a 2 hour wait. The atmosphere was pleasant, and though the restaurant was packed, we had great service. The waitress was knowledgeable in wine recommendation. We had an enjoyable dinner.
Favorite Plainfield Spot Stone Creek is our Plainfield favorite and usually dependable. Unfortunately, the chef let us down this time. The evening special, sockeye salmon, was dry and crumbly (maybe overcooked, but the mashed potatoes had a dry crust like being under a warmer too long). Certainly appreciated the manager removing the meal from our bill.
