First Visit Very good service, crab and mahi mahi were very good, asparagus was a little hard and the Red Velvet cake had a hard icing (almost like a confectioners) that was not as tasty as a more whipped icing that you normally see. All in all a good experience and I would probably return.
Dinner with friends On Friday, March 13, 2015 myself and our friends dined at Stone Creek in Plainfield part of the Cunningham Restaurant Group. I must say everyone are group raved about the their order saying "One of the best meals they have every had". Our service was above excellent it was superb one of the best waitresses we have every had. We will be back.
Too pricey for what you get I have been to this Stone Creek location several times now, and I must say, the food is good and the atmosphere is fine, but I never feel like I get what I pay for. It is far too expensive, especially considering that the service is mediocre at best. Love Stonecreek! We always love it here whether its date night, family night, or fun out with friends. The food is wonderful, Karen is an awesome waitress, and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. The outdoor eating area is also great in the warmer months. I highly recommend the Goat cheese appetizer, it is fabulous!
Great overall Experience We went on a Wednesday evening so the crowd was minimal. Food was wonderful. Steaks were cooked to perfect; shrimp cocktail was fresh. GREAT Bloody Mary's!!!
Nice dinner! Met friends there for dinner one evening. Upscale, eclectic, yet cozy atmosphere. Excellent food and drinks. Great service. We will be back!
Great food We come here for the great food and local craft beer. The servers are attentive and the atmosphere is very nice.
Stone Creek We go to Stone Creek once or twice a month. Perfect for a date, girlfriends, or large group. Martini night on Wednesdays is our favorite, but it's also our go to for special occasions or a meal before a movie. Love the ambience, especially love the service and of course the bread and oil.
Our waitress saved the day! The day before our reservation, the restaurant called to confirm our time and the size of our party (six of us). They asked if we were alright with going upstairs, and I told them yes. We had eaten upstairs before, and I really liked the atmosphere there.
