Only issue is where seated. Only issue is where seated. Original table next to kitchen...too noisy, clinky with dishes etc. Not best area for conversation...felt bad for server in area...affects tips with that type of ambience.
We took my wife's cousin to We took my wife's cousin to eat at Plainfield location. She needed relief from unplanned extended stay due to Christmas snow. Good beer selection. Salads were good, as were pasta entrees. Italian beef was average and lacked flavor (needs oregano). Satisfactory experience when you have out-of-town relative confined because of weather!

The beef and seafood entrees were equally fine; the server was outstanding --she was knowledgable, helpful, courteous, and unobtrusive. The atmosphere was very nice and even with several large groups in our dining are the noise level was not too high. We did n OT have wine, dessert or coffee, so cannot comment on those items. If we lived in this area we would return frequently.

We enjoyed our dinner. The We enjoyed our dinner. The food was a bit heavy with regards to multiple menu items. Despite the heavy handed oil, the meals were all very flavorful and enjoyable. The fried green tomatoes were very scrumptious and the bread served was very tasty.
Book online, avoid the wait. I enjoy booking online and walking to the front of the line at check-in. Always get seated quickly.
The atmosphere and service The atmosphere and service were good. We were there on St.Patrick's Day, so I decided to try the corned beef and cabbage special. I was a little disappointed in it. The beef was nice and tender but the cabbage was not cooked enough, so I was unable to eat it and the vegetables did not have very much flavor. I would not order that again. My husband and our friends all really liked what they ordered.
I asked for a quiet table, I asked for a quiet table, and alerted the staff to my food allergies...they were very accommodating and we had an amazing meal! Try the goat cheese appetizer as a starter...it was delicious! My petit filet mignon, was perfectly medium rare, and the scallops were delectable! We've been to Stone Creek's sister restaurants and were pleased, but Stone Creek in Plainfield was outstanding all around! THANK YOU! :)
