Food took over an hour to come out
I don’t know what has happened to our favorite go to restaurant, but since our return from wintering in Florida, this place seems to be in serious decline in food choices and preparation. We have been there 3 times since our return in early May. The first time we discovered a severely reduced menu with a couple of our favs missing, I.e., Tuscan penne pasta and Ahi tuna. We waited for about an hr for our food and when the manager come over to talk to us he didnt even address the issue u til I brought it up.
Previous visit was superb. This time my $49 steak that was to be medium was beyond well. Grill marks were black, hard and bitter. Really disappointing. I'm still going to recommend them based on previous experiences, though.
We usually go to the Greenwood Stone Creek and will NEVER be coming back to this one. The food tasted subpar and was lukewarm. And I guess their menu isn’t the same as other Stone Creek’s. I wanted a Strawberry Smash drink but they didn’t have it. I asked for medium heat for my steak and received medium rare-rare with the blood from the steak leaking into my side dishes. I tried the Mahi Mahi dish. Very poor. Way over done My partner had the Salmon and it was poor too. Don’t go here for a good meal but it’s an attractive interior
We’re fans of the Cunningham group, but stone creek hasn’t been awesome and on Mother’s Day brunch is was bad. Quiche was made day prior to and warmed up before served, but it was served Luke warm at best. Waiter commented that this had had happened to a few other customers proper to us as well, but told us after the fact.
