This restuarant is part of the Cunningham Group which has similar locations throughout the Indianapolis Metro area (Avon, Brownsburg, Plainfield, Noblesville and Greenwood. I believe they also run a small lunch counter in the Chase building downtown in Indianapolis). For a local chain, I think they serve good food and tasteful decor at similar prices to the nationwide chains (Cheesecake Factory, Ted's Montana Grill, Ruby Tuesday's and the like).
My wife and I dine regularly at various Stonecreek Dining Company locations. We enjoy it as we can eat a nice meal for around $50. We particularly enjoy steak. I quote my wife a professionally trained pastry chef. "They know how to cook a steak here." Great restaurant, good for the whole family.
The actual main course was not as great as we thought it would be. Service was a little slow as we viewed our server standing by the bar socializing while we thought he should be replenishing our waters or getting our food to us guicker. Seating by the bar was a distraction to our own conversation. It would have been nice to have been asked if it was okay for us to sit near the bar.
HI, The male servant was very friendly and nice and the food was very good. The fire pasta was our son favorite and the adults had Crabcakes and Tenderloin Steak. The scrimp cocktail was excellent! We have eaten at Stone Creek several times.We chose it for our Valentine dinner because we knew it would be a great experience.Our waiter was prompt, attentive, and fun. We started with the side salad which was a nice variety fresh, crisp veggies with a grating of cheese.We had the raspberry poppy seed dressing which was delightful. Very affordable dining, with the taste of an expensive upscale restaurant. One of the best in Indy!! A must try.
Went there on a double date and was quite impressed. The atmosphere is classy but not to the point of needing a suit and tie, and the portions match the price well. Would definitely recommend!
we were a party of 6; our server, our server was attentive and professional; the manager came over to our table and made he us feel welcome and special; the bartender was very knowledgeable about wines - suggested a great bottle and made the best cosmo i have ever tasted! we enjoyed the whole dining experience; the food was fantastic; we will definitely come back.
Our dining experience was great. It was a "girl's night out" for me and my two daughters so we splurged on cocktails, appetizer and meal. Everything tasted wonderful and the service was exceptional. We were seated half way between the main entrance and the bar. The noise level was pretty high, but it was a great place to see people come and go. One of my daughters saw several people that she used to work with and hadn't seen for quite a while. We definitely will return.
