I don't need to spend 10 min listening to every recording while waiting to be connected to my providers scheduler only to then be asked to leave a message. I cringe everything I need to communicate with anyone at DAP & BOREGGO IS JUST AS BAD IF NOT WORSE.
I went in there to see if I get a primary doctor the doctor that they gave me a physical then listen to my lungs didn't do s*** and he asked why my homeless which I'm not being here Royal palms 18 years anyway long story short is he didn't touch me but you know he got money from my insurance company on the way out the door he asked me sir would you like a flu shot I told him no I'll get it at Walgreens where they're not scared to touch me. I wouldn't go there my life was depending on it
As a long time patient, I have seen this clinic, and Borrego in general, go downhill. The main reason is the physician - Clayton Barbour. I have heard him screaming at patients. Me thinks he needs to retire or get some help. I understand the pandemic has been hard on providers, but his behavior pre-dates it. There is no excuse for his behavior. How it affect his medical judgment is too frightening to think about.
your experience may be better but personally i have not had good experience getting hold of the clinic, great deal of difficulty getting anyone to answer the phone ,after going through prompts on automated system sometimes takes 20 minutes-40 minutes, or up to almost an hour for someone to pick up the phone
5 years ago it was a great clinic....then they got government money and expanded and the hell with the patients... example: Our provider retired so we transferred to Eisenhower to be seen, when I called to have our prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy they deleted them instead of transferring them.... then lied about it to me two days ago... Do yourself a favor and find a better provider that actually cares about you and not how much they can bill for you....
Saw two Drs here after relocating from other state, needed Dr. To refill medicine id been one for nine years, denied by both of the Drs. Saw a nurse Practitioner, she concerned my BP was high and my meds appropriate, sadly they then said she wasn't covered by my insurance, so she couldn't give script. Next day was when I saw second Dr, what a JOKE! Tell Dr heart feels big, and it hurts, my BP is high in afternoon and evening. Bad Administration. Bad Doctors who care more about how much money they make rather than practicing good medical practices. Their management Team is very out dated and do not deal well. Very old office. Employees are rude and seem uncaring. Their Nurse manager Jim does not manage well and has poor customer service skills. They do not know how to properly document and store complaints. I would not recommend. Scheduling and Office Management there is very, very Bad!!!!
