Please read this. My father was transferred here from the hospital. I live in another state so was unable to tour the facility. He was there 19 days and his health just went downhill. The last day they called to tell me that they were transferring him to a certain hospital and he had left 20 minutes prior. An hour or so later they called to say that it was a different hospital. Do not put ur family at this incompetent place. The social worker lady is unprofessional and doesn't know wth she is talking about. She doesn't care about the patient she is incompetent and I know more than she does!!! You better know ur shit here to advocate for your family or they will take advantage of u and ur family if u don't know how things works at these facilities. Shame on all the staff members at Stoney Point Facility as they did not handle the covid protocols seriously. They had shut down all visitation about a month prior to me getting that call which I'll never forget, saying my grandma had to be transported to hospital due to fever. My grandma tested positive for Covid 19 at the hospital and it killed her. If only all your staff took this matter seriously from the beginning my grandma would still be here. THIS PLACE IS A DEATH SENTENCE FOR YOUR LOVED ONE! The CNA's do NOT care about your loved one. They do not shower the patients properly, half of the patients walk around in dirty soiled clothing full of urine. Most are left screaming in their rooms for help with no one attending to them. I could not even get the CNA's to squeeze some lotion into our loved ones hand to apply on themselves daily. If you care for the well being of your family member don't bring them here . My grandfather was here 3months , fell 2 times nursing staff was gonna let pass away if it was not for my grandmother checking in on him . Patients are left with walk the hallways with feces on floor . And nurses don't care . Worst place to take a loved one please don't bring them here .
