I don’t use oil change places all that often, I do them myself. I went today because I’m going on a trip and did t have the time to do it. Your associate told me since I had 20w0 in my truck I had two options…so I chose the full synthetic at $95. The guys did their routine and when I received my bill it was $140.00! I was charged $6.00 for a special filter change…it’s a 2012 Tundra 5.7 , nothing special. It looks like I was charged for oil and a shop fee. None of this was explained before my oil change. The staff do an excellent job, so this is not a review of their work, it is a review of the company and value of the job of day. Clearly costs have gone up but not at the 25% mark. I will quit going there after several years of frequenting this organization. Let me clarify. I frequented the Valvoline and have been at the Strickland Brothers for about a year. Strickland Brothers are overpriced and not worth the cost. I would not recommend them to anybody because of the cost not because of the service. The service is not any b... read more

NEGATIVE FIVE STARS 3 weeks after an oil change a pinched gasket caused catastrophic engine failure. The gasket was literally detached and pinched in between the pan and filter. Service tech at Chevy informed me for industry standards the oil filter was small and or improperly installed. They even sent out an employee with the bigger oil filter in hopes to start the seized motor. They then filed an insurance claim, then immediately disputed it. WOW, that's helpful.
