I would recommend. Very friendly, and helpful staff. We picked them because they were close to home.
The facility is very nice -they have a wonderful courtyard where residents can go sit. It is very clean as well. She has a room that is like her own little apartment and we love it. My mother is 102 and a half. The treat her like a queen here. They have all said that they do not wake her up in the mornings like they do the others - she has earned her right to sleep as late as she wants. The community is very neat and clean and the staff is friendly and open to feedback. If there are any issues at all they are addressed quickly and a solution is found. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.
It is a good place but it is costly. The staff was very friendly. My mom did not like the food. My mom had a restricted diet and they did not follow her diet. The room sizes were decent. They had outdoor space for the residents in the middle of the building with chairs and bird feeders and a garden.
Upon arrival to a beautiful facility,we were welcomed by a very friendly male occupant, sitting outside on the porch who began to tell us about his day. Our host, [name removed] was welcoming and gave a complete tour of the facility. She answered all of our questions and allowed us to speak with the nurse and others. We had the opportunity to see occupants and others going about their daily tasks. It was a difficult decision to narrow our search, however, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.
Loved, love this place. The distance is the only drawback
Mom is here in this community and I can't say enough good things about Ashton Manor. She is in the memory care unit where the staff understands how to communicate with her. There is great communication between the staff and I. They will engage her to join the daily activities. The meals are nutritious and wonderful. It is very clean and there are no odors. Everyone was very kind to my family, and myself during our tour. The community looked nice, and everything was nice, and clean. Our questions were answered. The staff was pleasant, and everything went well. Unfortunately I did find another community that suited our needs better.
We selected Ashton Manor because the facility is one - level and my mom could not handle getting in and out of an elevator or being on a floor higher than the ground floor. The facility is only 3 years old and very beautifully maintained both inside and out. The care givers are very helpful and friendly and the administrator is always available for questions.
