Late to this review but couldn’t recommend Sumner enough. Our lab mix needed emergency surgery June 23. I had to leave him overnight for the surgery. They updated me about his surgery. The tech even called me between leaving him and surgery to tell me he was still stable. When it came to recovery he wouldn’t eat or walk on a leash for the staff. Even though we had to wait for hours I didnt care & I wasn't leaving until I was able to find out what was wrong with our kitty. Everyone one working there is amazing understanding and the vet explained everything. They fixed our Freddy up feeling a lot better thank you to all the staff we will be going there if we ever have another after hours emergency. Cheryl & Freddy 🐈

I would rate this place 10 STARS if it allowed me! My three year old dog Murphy began vomiting non-stop this past week. We rushed him to Blue Pearl ER and was told he probably just ate something bad and it would pass in time. A couple days later, it was not improving. He wasn't eating nor drinking water and was completely OUT OF IT. We knew something wasn't right. I brought him to a local community clinic and they advised X-rays. The results showed three intestinal obstructions and advised I rush him to an ER hospital... read more

The team at Sumner always takes care of my babies, last night we had to use the ER for the first time, and even tho it felt like forever (doesn’t it always when it comes to our babies), they got my pup in and labs and all the things really quickly! They were very caring, and gentle. They answered all my “silly” questions and didn’t make me feel bad for asking. While we have a long road to recovery, I feel better knowing Sumner Vet is in my corner!

Review from cat owner perspective: I’ve used their vet, grooming, boarding, and emergency care for all my cats. All around they have all given my babies quality care. I highly recommend this place for all the services above. The staff is very friendly as well! Vet: Dr. Smith is absolutely fantastic. So kind to my babies. Especially because one is very shy.
