Complaint: This is the first time ever, filing a complaint with the BBB but I am SO distraught as this company is a high pressure, misleading, sales scam. I just completed 11 months of maintenance charges and noticed they were not adjusting the final month. This caused suspicion or a red flag, so I started doing research as to checking into this company's ethics and finding this company has no ethics. The sales presentation held at its affliliate ***** ****** ** **** *** ****, was a total misrepresentation as to the word "Free" which was a nothing of a sort. My daughter and I were told by a new (we were her first) sales representative named ***, we could use a portion and only pay for the time we used - later finding you need to purchase a whole week, even if you don't use the whole week, you must pay for the whole week. This new sales representative promised this would save me money on vacations - not if I'm paying full price for a partial week. They stated ********* ********* was a lending institution and they are not even accredited but affiliated with Sundance vacations. They stated they were accredited by the BBB and that was not the case. They did not fully disclose all the details and totally misrepresented what they were trying to sell. They lied about a free vacation that everyone raised their hands stating that's why they were in attendance which turned out NOT to be true. They told us we could not resind the offer and that violates **** Revised Code 1345.01 and Chapter 109:4-3. I sent a letter of cancellation due to gross misleading, misrepresentation, theft and fraud which was responded with a call from ***** and I returned the call this evening and spoke with ****** and reiterated my cancellation and refund request. This company just really upsets me when consumers get taken avantage of.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $4,389.12 I have already paid.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]
Complaint: *******
I am rejecting this response because:
I have been in contact with several employees with Sundance/********** New Client Services and I have an agreement dated 4/11/13 from *** ******** to fully refund monies paid by me and have been in contact with ********* ******* of same company and phone number who is working on getting checks cut and mailed within 2 weeks or better. So to say, I don't have an account is not true as everyone I have spoken with, has been able to find it.
I would respectfully request to keep this complaint open until its completion of said checks as promised.
Regards,
**** ******

Thank you for your letter dated April 17, 2013 regarding an update to the complaint that was filed by **** ******. Please note that **** ****** is not a customer of Sundance Vacations Inc. and has not entered into a contractual agreement with our company. As I had stated within my initial response, I would advise *** ****** to revisit the paperwork that is associated with her referenced travel package to determine the correct company that she should be dealing with in regard to her complaint. Based on the content of *** ******’s rejection to my initial response, she has not done this, and at this point in time still does not know the actual company that she should be referencing.
Unless *** ****** can provide the Better Business Bureau with a copy of the contractual agreement that specifically notes Sundance Vacations Inc. as the company that she has a contractual agreement with, I would request that this complaint be closed as a result of consumer error.
We trust this resolves the complaint and ask to be notified if it is not considered resolved. Should you have any questions regarding this or any other matter, please do not hesitate to contact this office at **************.
