1 Star – Scam Company Built on Lies and Manipulation Sundance Vacations is a predatory scam. My fiancé and I were tricked with a fake “free vacation” offer, only to be cornered in a high-pressure sales trap. We were pushed into signing a long-term contract we didn’t fully understand. We sat through the presentations and said no all the way even with management, we were provided a 7 day vacation, I google searched with the certificate we were handed and got ahold of ADENZA travel, the representative was absolutely fantastic, gave us his personal email, and phone number. We paid our very reasonable taxes and we are on the way to Myrtle Beach this Summer, beachside. I am very disappointed with my recent reservations. I have been a customer for years now and never encountered this problem. I made reservations to a resort that we have visited for three years now, in Virginia Beach. My reservations had to be changed due to renovations at the resort we wanted, very understandable. I requested the resort directly across the street as that resort is familiar to us , that resort is accessible to those who stay at Turtle Cay, and I was told that would be doable. I advise to stay away from Sundance. The cost effectiveness is NOT there. Customer service is sorely lacking. If you don't have questions or concerns prior to booking a vacation go for it. Good luck getting answers prior to booking.
Won a free vacation, so we sit through the seminar excited that my husband and I might actually get a chance to have a honeymoon. BUT who you have to book it with you have to have a credit card not a debit card and you have to pay the $100 fee before you can book anything. We were advised about the fee but now we can't book it because we don't own a credit card and it'll take 3-4 weeks to do a money order. Better off not even trusting it at all but I still feel cheated and disappointed.
