I was born and raised in Germany. Growing up I had a lot of cavities and a lot of dental work. There was no Novocain and trips to the dentist were laced with fear. This fear was still in my when I moved to the US 30 years ago. Going to the dentist is always connected with sweaty hands and a feeling of uneasiness. And because of that, I did not go to the dentist often. Finally I decided I had to. I went to a dentist in Palm Desert and they told me that I needed a lot of work. Something about that place did not seem right.
Doctor Wee was recommended by a friend. With my very first visit I felt uneasy, but he looked at my teeth and he agreed, I had to do a bunch of work done. But unlike the other dentist, he took the time to explain to me what needed to be done and why. His demeanor is so nice, I actually calmed down. Then we scheduled a few appointments. The next time I went to him, he began the work. There was no pain! He kept asking me if I am OK and he was very careful. I thought I am getting special treatment because I am such a "baby" - but no! I overhead him talk to other patients just as gently and considered. Well, I have been his patient ever since. He is good at what he does as well. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who seeks a good dentist who truly cares.
