We scheduled my daughter an appt for an ongoing issue after a referral. During the scheduling process they were told insurances and age of the child.(Standard scheduling intake) I arrived at appointment on time to then be told that we could not be seen due to her secondary insurance. I asked if it could be ran only under primary only and was told no. I even asked to be self pay and was told no. I am very upset with billing. I was charged for a complimentary visit because I asked a question unrelated to my visit? I had no treatment performed but asked Dr. Swann a question regarding a spot on my face and they charged me $83 for that. On top of that the reason I was there was suppose to be free and they charged me for that and it took over 3 months to get it off of my account. In total they tried to charge me almost $160. I found Dr Mike Swann to be arrogant and condescending. I’d never use a place like this with such an offensive doctor.
My daughter was treated incorrectly twice at Swann Dermatology. She now has a 4-inch scar right in the center of her chest, a cyst that continues to come back - because they treated it incorrectly - and will need to see a plastic surgeon. She drove from Kansas City to come to Swann because this place was highly recommended. They have always treated her less than.
