We used Taco Mama to cater our son's Graduation party from UA on 12/15/2017. Beth Whinery was so helpful in walking me thru the scheduling process-from booking the party to set up. They arrived at the venue on time, the food was hot!! We had prepared for 50 and had plenty of food to take home after the party!! I would recommend Taco Mama-Tuscaloosa again without any hesitation or reservation.
The food was very good and the service was excellent. But it's a very loud space with people constantly dragging metal chairs screeching across the concrete floor. We'll definitely eat there again, but we'll probably order it to go.
I had the fish tacos and, as my friends know by now, I'm pretty fussy about them. Yours were not unacceptable. I ordered the broiled (e.g. *not* fried) and the fish was still a bit greasy. Also -- there was no cilantro on them, and sparse, if any, sauce appropriate for fish tacos (lime-infused chipotle mayo, pico de gallo mayo, etc.) My wife had a burrito dish and she liked it.
