The marriage counselor was completely wowed by my (can be when he wants) charming husband. I was not allowed to make any explanation as to the financial situation, why it was that way, and how it became so severe. My terrific actor of a husband even got choked up, and I thought he was going to cry. Prevarication is his middle name, and he is extremely good at it, and convincing as hell.
