My loved one lives in this community and she loves all of the activity going on. She has been shopping, out to lunch, and the cocktail hour, every Friday. The cocktail hour is always so much fun with the live music.
I Visited Tampa Gardens today. They have one of the nicest nurses with tons of experiences, she and her care staff go above and beyond for her residents. The Chef has been there over 20 years! The Director is very welcoming and is very communicative. The renovations of this Community are very bright and welcoming. Highly recommend this Community. I would be happy for any of my loved ones to move here.
Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was just okay, they were under construction at the time so we just knew it was not going to be the best fit for our loved at that moment.
The food is delicious, and iit is like eating at a retsaurant. The facility, is well worth the value of the money. My loved one had alot of anger mangement issues, and they have put them on meds to calm down. They report to me weekly, and let me know what's going on. Overall, they monitor my loved one constantly and they are doing terrific.
We toured with Tampa Gardens and it was a wonderful experience. We toured about 4 places and they all came in pretty comparable. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the facility itself was so clean. We were able to see some of the activities posted as well and they looked great. For us it just came down to the location and convenience for family.
The people I dealt with at Tampa Gardens Senior Living were very nice. And the tour was a positive experience. We just preferred a different community. Size and number of residents was the determining factor - we were looking for a place that was not too big but not too small.
I toured Tampa Gardens and it was not quite as good as the community we chose.
There have been some staff shake-ups. There was a change in ownership right after our loved one moved in. Some of the staff that we really liked are no longer there. He reports that the food quality is not as good as when he first moved in. And the activities are hit or miss, most likely due to Covid staffing issues.
