The Whisker Whip XL is a great shore fishing rod for channel cats and smaller flatheads. I bought mine for use as on the Allegheny River above Pittsburgh. I’m very impressed with the fit and finish of these rods. Definitely nicer than what major brands offer in this price range.

Your rods are the best catfish rods out there! I’ve got several Whisker Whip XL’s and an Extender. They’ve held up against some mighty strong catfish, and I’ve recommended them to many of my fellow catfish enthusiasts. Also, thank you for still making cork handles. Keep up the good work!
