I own 8 catfish setups, both spinning and casting with rods and reels from all the top brands. My most recent setup is the 7-6" casting whisker whip in hi-viz green. By far the lightest catfish rod i own. The eva grip and reel seat are fantastic and the guides are as well. Paired with an abu 6500 c3, this rod has become my new favorite when using under 5oz leads. I would not hesitate to buy another twc rod.

Protected my info thus far
I don't normally write reviews but I thought this situation was worthy of my time. I purchased two TWC rods several months ago and loved them so i purchased two more. They arrived last week and I took all four of them out last weekend. I got one of my brand new poles snagged and I was trying to pull it free thinking that my line would just snap if i pulled it enough. Well, the rod itself ended up snapping in two pieces.
