Good times! This was my 2nd visit. Took mom this time for her birthday. All the food was very tasty, the servers were pretty good, we lost ours for a second, but found her eventually. Used the payment app, which was not only cool, but easy to use. We will definitely be back!
I went mid week for breakfast. I had no trouble getting a table. The service was excellent and the food was even better. Ted's in Ballston will be my new breakfast hangout whenever I am in Arlington.
Very good pop tarts, love it.

Ted’s is known for their brunches not dinners. Dinner was good but pricey for mainstream, not so special dishes. Server was nice but once she became busy, forgot all about us, so the extra side dressing that I requested never came and our water glasses were never filled. The place wasn’t even that busy. After several attempts at trying to get another server/staff/anyone, we finally managed to get the helpful bus person to get us some water. I would still go for brunch but sadly, not for dinner.
Two of us ordered red wine braised short rib stroganoff prepared with the usual mushrooms, onions, garlic, butter and sour cream over buttered noodles - - and it was excellent! One ordered the peanut butter bacon burger, which was just OK, as the meat was well done and thus not juicy. The huge piece of chocolate cake was enough for three of us. We come here regularly, and with the exception of the peanut butter bacon burger, everything has always been excellent.
Wait staff are often too busy but this long-standing staple still delivers.
Good food and service at Ted's Bulletin, Ballston. The vibe isn't great, a bit like a semi-noisy cafeteria and booths are a little tight for four, but overall positive experience and I'll go back.
