Keith was our server, great professionalism. Good service and good choices.
My family and I celebrated my birthday here last evening. The whole experience was exceptional. The concierge greeted us and seated us immediately. Our server, Keith, was welcoming, attentive to our needs and provided great dinner suggestions. We ordered the Harvest Salad, Halloumi Salad, Short Rib Pot Roast, Pan Seared Royal Seabass, and the Blackened Salmon. I was in from out of town. I hadn't been to Ted's in eight years. Always a favorite. We had never been for dinner, always brunch. The host/ server was fantastic! The restaurant was very empty except for a family with four really loud, screaming kids. We sure wish someone had said something. They were running everywhere, throwing napkins, and even though there were probably ten customers total besides this family... we could hardly hear each other talk. Ugh. I ordered the beef on pasta. Food was decent but we were very rushed, we were on a date night and were in and out in less than 42 minutes. We got apps and entrees at same time, everytime we asked for something like dessert it was suggested we get it to go.
I always visit here when my family comes to DC. Went again and had delicious truffle fries and french toast. Our server was great.
Great service. Love love the short rib stroganoff!!! We are going back tomorrow
We have been to Ted’s multiple times, this time was not as good as usual. Our waiter seemed absent-minded mind. We had to get up and find our own silverware. By the time our food came out, it was cold. Huevos rancheros had a different flavor. It tastes almost like spaghetti sauce and not rancheros sauce. This was not the best experience.
