We are new to Brookhaven, and a friend recommended we try Terra Terroir. We were delighted, with high hopes to enjoy a night out. The decor, location, welcome and food were superb. Loved the very kind host. We tried a variety of items: soups, apps, entrees, salads, ginger beer and wine. Each complemented the other. All wonderful. Maybe it was an off-night, but the server, while pleasant, was confident but scattered. Completely forgot a drink order until reminded, and food took a very long time to arrive; soup was not hot, so... read more
Food wasn't as good as I expected but still we enjoyed the sea bass and chicken pretty well.
9 friends went to lunch to celebrate birthdays. The table was set for us, the server was great and very attentive, ambiance is beautiful. No one really commented on their food, but my specific item was very disappointing. I ordered the lobster BLT. It was 85% bread, 10% BLT and 5% little bitty fixed up Pieces of lobster. It was a bread sandwich. Terrible dish for the price.
The food was spectacular and the services were first class. From the time we walked in the door until we recieved our check, we were greeted and served by the some of the friendliest staff that I have yet to encounter. I had the special which was a rib-eye and asparagus. The meal was cooked to perfection and the wine list is worth popping the cork. I would suggest this place to anyone. It is truly one of Atlanta's hidden gems. If you want to catch a spot on their beautiful patio it is important to make a reservation. Enjoy!
Appetizers were good - entree wasn't that great! The Brussels sprouts appetizer was greats!
Love Terra Terroir - their menu is a bit limited - but always great
I had not been to Terra Terroir in a couple of years and found it to be as reliable and pleasant as ever. My friend thinks the salmon is the best in the city. I enjoyed the pasta primavera with nice shrimp on top. An easy place to overlook as it's inconspicuously located in a strip shopping center. Once you find it, you'll probably want to go back again.
The live jazz was great! Had an awesome time!
Surprisingly attractive restaurant for a suburban looking strip center. The restaurant aspires to be high end but falls short on service and food originality. One feels that they may be resting on their laurels....they need to step it up a notch to keep up with higher end Atlanta restaurants. We probably won't return due to the half hour drive....if we lived in the neighborhood we would definitely give it another try.
