We chose Elmcroft of Southport because they had availability when we needed it. They were very easy to work with and welcoming to our family. They have a great personal service, the staff know everyone by name and seem to be very caring and positive. They are in the midst of changing management companies, we are hoping things stay as good as good as they are now. I would definitely recommend to others looking.
The staff at Elmcroft of Southport are caring and compassionate. We are very thankful to them for taking such good care of our aunt. Out of all the places she stayed in her later years, Elmcroft of Southport was the best long-term care option. I would highly recommend Elmcroft of Southport's services to someone looking for support for themself or for a family member.
We put our mom in Elmcroft of Southport. It was a hard decision but we are sooo happy we moved her there. She has dementia. The staff is very caring and like family. She is very happy having new friends and lots of activities. We are very relieved that she is happy and enjoying herself in this beautiful setting.
I took my parents from San Diego to Southport, NC. When I went to get them, I had no idea how bad my Mom was. They lied to me. I found a very kind nurse on line who hooked me up with [Name removed] @ Carillon. If it wasn't for his assistance and his nurse [Name removed], I am not sure what would have happened. Nice enough place, not enough private rooms, not as nice as other places but still had same price. Food was good as we had lunch there
I toured here when looking around. It was nice, and all the places were pretty comparable. It was a little too far away from me. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I wouldn't be able to get there very easily.
