We now live in Savannah, so it’s been tough for us to make time when we’re visiting family in Reno to fit La Strada in, but sure still worth it when we can.
We were celebrating a 70th Birthday. We chose Roxy because we were there twice before. We were not disapointed. Our server, Samuel , was great and our Maitre de , Targh, was outstanding.
Am at Eldorado alot during the year with my groups and finally was able to try LaStrada this last visit. Why did I wait so long???? What a lovely setting with excellent & attentive service with food that will make your taste buds jump for joy! I can't wait til my next visit & maybe try the trust me tasting option!
Dinner was fabulous. Mushroom Ravioli was excellent and I had one of the best Spaghetti Carbonaras I have ever eaten. Wonderful experience all around.

These were some of the dishes we had after choosing the "Trust Me " choice. The Gnocchi and Ravioli was to die for!! Steak was perfect, the whole meal was perfection! I hope you try it and enjoy your culinary journey!
Our favorite fine Italian restaurant. We dined with friends and for the most part, everyone but me was very happy with their meals. I had the veal saltimbocca and was very disappointed. I chose to not send it back and disrupt everyone else’s evening, but it was overlooked to the point of being dry and tough. I am amazed that any chef would allow it to leave the kitchen! We’ve been coming for dinner for years and this is the first really poor meal we’ve had. We’ll be back, but this is strike one.
Our server was extremely nice. The restaurant was pleasant. The food was just ok. Unfortunately it didn’t meet our expectations. I may try something else one more time but the risotto will not be an option. The sausage in the risotto was quite bland.
