Food was excellent. Greeting at the door was slightly impolite. Appreciate they were busy but we had made a booking 5 minutes before on open table. They said they were too busy to take the booking but eventually agreed to give us a table! (After swearing)
We booked for 5.30 for s pre theatre meal. We were the first into the restaurant - there were 2 step ladders up in ten restaurant and we were told we could only sit near the front of the restaurant even tho 10 minutes later other people walked in and they sat where they wanted to. We waited a long time for drinks and even longer for the waiter to take our order. The food was tasty however when the bill came we thought it was expensive don’t know honk we will return especially to that one.
Staff were miserable and restaurant had no atmosphere. Food was ok but nothing more.
Very big portion and excellent service.
A beautiful restaurant. Excellent food and good service.
Food was tasty, two of us ordered a vegetable jungle curry (super spicy!) and a massaman lamb curry which was also nice. Unfortunately the food was slow to arrive, we waited 35 minutes for main and it felt very long as we didn't order starters. One waitress apologised for the delay because they had an unusually big party to cater for. Another waitress dismissed her apology saying that food normally takes about 25 minutes to be served anyway. At 6.30pm the atmosphere was nice and quiet.
Service was inattentive and slow. Staff just standing chatting. We had to go and find someone to ask for the bill.
Food was a bit hit and miss but the service was terrible.
Good value for money. Nice experience but not a cozy place
