We booked Sunday lunch at Thai Square Putney and were surprised (and disappointed) to find it was a buffet. This was not mentioned on TT website or on Thai Square's own website. It was a good value at £15.99, nicely presented and staff were very professional but we would have preferred to sit down and order from a menu. The views of the river and of Putney Bridge are gorgeous.
Thai Square on Putney Bridge has a great bar area and the upstairs restaurant area is also lovely. Really attentive staff and great food - although best bit is the great view of the river...highly recommend.

Nice view of the river. Food is nice but expensive for what it is. Service is good. Expect to pay about £60 for dinner for 2, bottle of wine and service.
I took some family friends to Thai Square on Putney Bridge and they loved the light, fresh airiiness of the place. the service was great and food delicious, however we were told the green curry was not too spicy and it absolutely blew our heads off, to the point where one friend couldn't even eat it and had to ask for a glass of milk to cool down. My vegetable green curry made my eyes water it was so hot. We'd go back because it's lovely but might order something different.
Thai Square Putney maintains the consistency that is the Thai Square chain. Pretty decent Thai food but what I really like about this one in particular is the decor and view. An all round enjoyable meal.
The food at Thai Square was very good but the quantities are quite small and therefore, I feel, this restaurant doesn't offer good value for money. The atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant is excellent particularly given the great river views.
Thai square overlooking the River Thames in Putney is just about perfect. Alternative twists on traditional thai dishes plus the old favourties. Service is like the views, elegant and non-obtrusive but always there. Great cocktail menu and lively bar area too.
