We went to the Restaurant after a visit to the Courtauld Art Gallery. The food and service were excellent. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

5 star food but not quite 5 star service. No pre-theatre menu offered, only the Gold standard!
The food was excellent but the service was poor. It was over 20 minutes before we were even offered a drink and as this is in the middle of theatre land and we we’re going to the theatre, this wasn’t great. The restaurant is very long and thin and the waitresses stayed up by the bar and wouldn’t look our way at all and all the diners were at the other end so you couldn’t even catch their eye. Great little restaurant with fantastic staff. Love the food. Yum.
Food was excellent. The service was brusque and useless. It was slow. The main person who was looking after the restaurant was curt when we arrived, that carried on through the evening, the ordering, the delivery and exit
The venue was comfortable and clean (including the toilets). Our food was tasty and we would definitely eat there again. Very well placed for theatres on The Strand
