The staff at The Beacon is very caring and attentive to resident needs. While I was in the facility, one of the residents came by the office just to give hugs! The personal connection between residents and staff is apparent. Great job Beacon!

I am new and making friends. The residents are welcoming. I cannot wait to start dancing and be part of giving ideas to dance. I like that the people like to talk to me about football. They are helping me get used to my new surroundings.

The staff cares about the residents and they really get to know the residents family. It is like a big community they take the time to really learn and help them thru what they are going thru. They help with small or large things and give them a lot of respect and dignity.

Very helpful and available to answer questions timely. Inclusive with all family members and allow visits with pets. She chose a studio w/ a kitchenette. The bathroom is fully accessible for someone with mobility difficulties. She is able to have her preferred snacks and drinks readily available without needing to go to the dining room. She can go to the dining area anytime for snacks if she prefers. She has room for a small sofa and recliner in her room and view of the courtyard/garden from her room. I like it for my Mom but she complains they don't bring her medicine on time and the food isn't good. I like the beacon. I think they do a good job.

We were in the memory care side. The staff was friendly It was clean in the common areas. Our room was cleaned once a week and laundry done. Ours had carpet and when you have someone that has a lot of accidents, I feel they should clean carpets once a week also at least. The tv was always on in the big room. They did activities or had someone come in to play music or they did trivia. The food was really good. I just think they needed more staff for the 35 or so rooms. My Step Mom and Dad are both at the Beacon at Gulf Breeze. The facility smelled clean and the staff seemed happy. Most of the MC facilities that I toured smelled like urine and the staff seemed tired. After getting to know the staff at the Beacon, they truly care about the residents.

It's been a really great spot for my father in law. So thankful for your help! I like the layout and the small size. I also really like that they have physical therapy in the building and get my father in law working out every day. The staff is very nice and knows everyone.

What we like the most about The Beacon is that it has good highway access and shopping nearby. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families as my wife has lived there in Memory Care more than a year & is comfortable & contented.
