My brothers and I have been very impressed with The Beacon for our 91 year old dad. It is a beautiful facility with excellent care. He requires hospice care now, and everyone has been gracious and supportive and kind with my father and our whole family. We are beyond grateful.
The Beacon is a wonderful place for residents and staff. The environment is positive and friendly. The facility resembles a grand hotel. The proximity to the beach allows our residents to enjoy all that the Emerald Coast has to offer!
Director of Nursing and Executive Director both have been very compassionate, supportive and patient with us during a very difficult transition period. They have greatly improved on the consistency of staffing.
I gave my neighbor the information I received from A Place for Mom and he was able to quickly get his mother entered into The Beacon. Another friend who had been sitting with [name removed] before her move, and I visited with her once she was settled. We were delighted with the lovely facility and how happy [name removed] was to be there. I'd give 5's across the board. The staff knew mom by name by the second day. The dining experience is lovely. Cost for all assisted living is a bit of a shock, but based on the facility and level of service The Beacon's at Gulf Breeze' rates aren't out of line. Finally, a community that ticks the boxes for cleanliness, openness, and friendliness, where residents are treated with dignity.
Everyone on staff that I dealt with at The Beacon at Gulf Breeze was extremely helpful. The move in/out process was extremely smooth and the staff was helpful in making it as convenient as possible to my schedule. Communicating with everyone was easy and my questions were answered in a timely manner. I encountered one housekeeper during my husband's stay. She seemed to be quite thorough. I would recommend the facility. We picked this community, because of the proximity to my home. It's like all assisted living. Great facility. But you have to be aware of the service.
The Sales Manager, [name removed], is very easy to work with and will help facilitate your loved one's transition to Assisted Living. The med techs and the dining hall staff are great and attentive. The cleanliness and friendliness are very good. The staff and the value for cost are great. I would definitely recommend The Beacon at Gulf Breeze to those looking for an Assisted Living facility.
